Hei,

Kirja tuli loppuviikosta postilaatikkoon ja vaikuttaa hyvältä ja selkeältä opukselta. Paljon osuvia ja käytännönläheisiä vinkkejä reeni- ja ravintoasioihin.

Yhteen mieltä askarruttavaan yksityiskohtaan kuitenkin pysähdyin sen verran pitkäksi aikaa, että heräsi tarve varmistaa asia. Sivulla 42 on laskentakaavat sekä naisten että miesten lepoaineenvaihdunnan laskemiseksi.

Kun laskin oman lepoaineenvaihduntani tuolla miehille tarkoitetulla kaavalla, niin mielestäni kulutukseni vaikutti epäilyttävän suurelta. Vertasin lukua siihen, mitä aiemmin olin netistä löytämälläni Harris-Benedictin kaavalla laskenut ja tällä kirjasta löytämälläni kaavalla kulutukseni oli useita satoja kcal suurempi. Voisiko olla mahdollista, että tuossa kirjaan päätyneessä laskentakaavassa on ns. pilkkuvirhe? Miehille tarkoitettu kaava on kirjassa muodossa 13,75 x kg + 5 x cm - 6,76 x ikä + 664,7. Jos vertaan tuota kaavaa netistä löytyvään Harris-Benedictin kaavaan, niin siinähän tuo viimeinen luku näyttäisi olevan enmmemminkin suuruuluokkaa 66,47 kuin 664,7.

Eli siis onko kyse lukijan väärinymmärryksestä vaiko pillkuvirheestä laskentakaavassa? Kysyn tätä ihan vain varmistukseksi, että saan laskettua kulutukseni varmasti oikein.

Kiitos viestistäsi! Kyllä, tähän vuosia menestyksekkäästi käyttämääni kaavaan oli tullut taiton viimeisessä vaiheessa virhe. Kaikki alkuperäiset kaavamateriaalit suoraan käyttämistäni työskentelykansioista ja viimeisessä tarkastusversiossani kaikki ok, mutta viimeistelyvaiheessa ennen painoon lähtemistä kustantajan päässä tapahtunut jokin virhe kaavan ladonnassa.

Viimeinen vakio on 66,47. Tästä teknisestä virheestä on lähtenyt maili FITRAn verkkotilaajille sekä kaikkiin muihin asiakaskontaktikanaviin ja info FITRAn sivuille. Kustantaja sekä minä tiedotamme tästä koko ajan ja luonnollisesti

Anteeksipyyntö tästä! Laske kulutuksesi oikealla 66,47 vakiolla ja käytä sitten kertoimia. Näin pääset hyvin eteenpäin. Sitten voit kirjan ohjeilla tehdä yksilölliseen muuntamista, seurantaa ja viilailua tavoitteidesi mukaan!
